Jeremy Clarkson is a Plonker
TV bad boy Jeremy Clarkson is at it again. This time the plonker has driven a 4x4 car to the top of Ben Tongue, causing a fair bit of damage in so doing. The story is carried in a number of papers including The Independent and The Guardian.
The President of The Mountaineering Council of Scotland, John Mackenzie believes that televising the stunt will encourage others to copy and cause further environmental damage. I couldn't agree more and you have to wonder why the producers and editors of the programme at the BBC allowed such stupidity to happen and be broadcast. Even worse in the newspaper stories the quotes from the BBC show them to be completely unapologetic. There are plenty of ways to show the capabilities of an off-road car without ripping up a fragile mountainside.
That ****** amazes me again and again. Luckily I don't have a TV and therefore don't have to contribute to paying for him through a TV License.
But then again he brings my blood to the boil when I read about his antics. Why can't he just grow up or the BBC fire him?

Maybe you people should worry about some real and relevant environmental issue, global warming, over fishing, pesticide use. So big deal he drove over a bit of heather. and?
